Kelsey Museum of Archaeology

With its rich collections, an active exhibitions program, and sponsorship of ongoing field research, the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology supports teaching and research on Classical, Egyptian, and Middle Eastern archaeology. The museum houses a collection of more than 100,000 artifacts, 1,500 of which are on permanent display; in addition, the Kelsey mounts two to three special exhibitions annually. As an exhibit museum at a public university, the Kelsey embraces a vigorous public outreach mission, engaging with local residents and visitors of all ages, from kindergarten through retirement, and serves as the headquarters of the U-M's graduate program in Classical Art and Archaeology.
Trotter Multicultural Center

Founded in a rambling old house on the corner of South University and East University streets, the Trotter Multicultural Center began life as Trotter House, a cultural center for Black students, and was and named in honor of William Monroe Trotter. The Trotter Multicultural Center was established on Washtenaw Avenue in 1972, and continued to grow, and expanding its focus in 1981 to become a multicultural student center. Today, Trotter works to enhance multicultural awareness across campus. In 2019, the Trotter Multicultural Center opened its new location on State Street.
Michigan Union

The Michigan Union is one of the most beloved buildings on Central Campus. Impressive in stature and alive with activity, the Union houses study and meeting spaces, six eateries, shops and student services.
University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA)

The 93,000-square-foot museum, which includes a world-renowned Asian Conservation Lab, is one of the largest and oldest university art museums in the country. UMMA's collections are particularly strong in European art from the Renaissance to the 19th century, as well as Chinese, Japanese, and African art, as well as American art from the 19th century to the present.
LSA Building

The renovated and expanded LSA Building is LSA’s on-campus home for its students. It includes a range of resources including spaces for students to connect, collaborate, and study as well as programs to help them succeed academically and professionally.
